DAY 1 – 10 Nov:  Depart USA


DAY 2 – 11 Nov:  Arrival in the Holy Land where you will be met by our representative who will assist you through customs. After meeting our guide and bus driver, and after a short visit to Jaffa, we drive to our hotel on the Mediterranean coast for dinner and overnight. Evening introduction and orientation.


DAY 3 – 12 Nov:      Caesarea / Carmel / Megiddo(Armageddon) / Nazareth / Tiberias   

This morning we drive to Caesarea to visit the Crusader Fortress built upon the ancient city of Caesarea, named after Augustus Caesar, who imposed the tax that brought Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.  Here we will visit an ancient Roman Amphitheatre, where the group can experience the acoustics of a structure built in the days of Christ. Continue to Mount Carmel where Elijah issued his challenge to the False Prophets. Continue to Megiddo, Site of Armageddon.  Now on to Nazareth, where Jesus spent the silent years of his life. From Nazareth the road winds down to Tiberias and the beautiful Sea of Galilee.  Dinner and overnight at your hotel in the Galilee.


DAY 4 – 13 Nov:   Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee / Ancient Boat / Mt of Beatitudes / Capernaum / Tabgha


Today we rise early and board our boat for a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We visit the Ancient Boat, a fishing boat dating from the time of Jesus and Magdala, a unique site in the Holy Land where a first century synagogue and a complete first century city have been found.  We continue around the Sea of Galilee where much of the Galilean Ministry took place.  Here were the homes of the disciples James, Simon, John and Andrew.  We will visit the place where Jesus gave Beatitudes and taught in the synagogue on many occasions and performed many miracles. After lunch we will visit Tabgha where 5,000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of fish and loaves.  We end the day at Capernaum, which was the centre of Jesus activities in the Galilee . Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.


DAY 5 – 14 Nov:  Golan Heights / Caesarea Phillipi / Dan Nature Reserve

This morning we drive north to the Dan Nature Reserve, which was the northernmost city of the Kingdom of Israel. We then take the road up to the Golan Heights and the Syrian border where we will hear the explanations of the strategic and political significance of this area. On the Golan Heights we will visit Caesarea Phillipi at Banias, which is the Site of the Transfiguration. We end a magnificent day with a visit to Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River. Return to hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight.




DAY 6 – 15 Nov:   Beit Shean / Jordan Valley / Jericho / Qumran / Dead Sea

Today we bid farewell to the Galilee and drive to the city of Beit Shean – one of the earliest and most important cities in Israel from the time of the Canaanites.  It was here the Philistines impaled King Saul’s body to the city wall – we view its magnificent excavations.  We continue through the Jordan Valley via Jericho, the first city conquered by the Israelites

in the Promised Land, to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We end the day at Ein Gedi where King David hid from Saul. We continue to our hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight. Those who wish to do so may swim (float) in the salty waters of the Dead Sea.


DAY 7 – 16 Nov:   Massada / Ein Gedi / Jerusalem

After breakfast we drive to the mighty fortress Massada, last stronghold and stand of the zealots against Rome, on the edge of the barren Negev Desert.  Massada is a symbol of courage and perseverance for the Jewish People, where 960 Jewish defenders organized their last resistance to the Roman conquerors and took their own lives rather than surrender into slavery. We proceed to Ein Gedi, where King David hid from Saul. After lunch we start the ascent to Jerusalem, and begin our visit in Jerusalem at the Mt of Olives for an outstanding breathtaking view of the city across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.


DAY 8 – 17 Nov:  Palm Sunday Road / Garden of Gethsemane / House of Caiaphas / Mt Zion / Upper Room / BETHLEHEM


This morning we walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Travel around the temple pinnacle to the City of David and on to the house of Caiaphas at Saint Peter in Gallicantu. Continue to Mount Zion and the Upper Room, site of the last supper. After lunch we visit New  Jerusalem: the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea scrolls are kept and the scale model of the city set in New Testament Times. We end the day at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and memorial to the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis in World War 2. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 


DAY 9 – 18 Nov:   Free Day


DAY 10 – 19 Nov:   Old City of Jerusalem / Pool of Bethesda / Praetorium / Fortres of Antonia / View of Temple Mount / Western Wall / Western Wall Tunnels / Southern Steps / City of David

Today we enter the Old City through St Stephen’s Gate; Visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured an invalid man; continue to the Praetorium, site of the public trial of Christ, and his condemnation, and view its ancient remains in the Fortress of Antonia, seat of the Roman Procurator; proceed to Mount Moriah to view the Mosque of Omar and visit the Western Wall, a sacred site for the Jewish People, as well as the Southern Steps of the Temple and the Western Wall Tunnel, running along the base of the Western Wall.  We end the day with a visit to the City of David where we will see a movie and walk through Hezekiya’s tunnel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem


DAY 11 – 20 Nov:  Christian Quarter / Via Dolorosa / Church of Holy Sepulchre / Garden Tomb

After a later start to the day we return one last time to the Old City of Jerusalem and walk through the picturesque market streets to the Christian Quarter, passing the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We end the tour with quiet prayer at the Garden Tomb. Before driving to the airport for our flight home, we will enjoy a delicious farewell dinner at a restaurant on the way to the airport.


DAY 12 – 21 Nov:  Arrive home



A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 per person is required on registration. Remainder of payment is due 2 months prior to departure for participants who purchase flights through HOLY LAND TOUR , and 6 weeks prior to departure for participants who purchase only land arrangements through HOLY LAND TOUR. In the event that the tour does not materialize for any reason, deposit will be refunded in full.
